More than 200 participants at the Rosarito Aquatic Center, located in the Andrés Luna Sports Complex, took part in the first aquathlon of the year.

Starting early in the morning, participants in various categories arrived for check-in at the aquatic center in the Reforma neighborhood, some accompanied by family and friends.

Spectators witnessed the efforts of the competitors, who were awarded commemorative medals upon completing the event.

Participants’ swimming and running distances on the athletic track varied according to their class level and endurance. While some walked or jogged, they all made an effort to complete the required distance for the aquathlon.

This was the second aquathlon held by the aquatic center since the pandemic and has been well-received by users.

A second aquathlon is scheduled for September, where participants will have the opportunity to join their commemorative medals to form a single design.
