Offering a wide range of academic, sports, and cultural activities, the Children’s Club of Rosarito will resume courses on Sept. 4.
Registrations opened on Aug. 26. The registration fee is 100 pesos, with a monthly fee of 100 pesos.
Verónica Medina Martínez, the director of the Children’s Club, invited parents to bring their children to visit the facilities and learn about the activities offered in a safe environment.
Twelve years after its creation, the Children’s Club has become a valuable resource for academic reinforcement.
With the support of instructors and volunteers, many students with academic delays have shown significant progress, particularly in reading and basic math skills.
Upcoming sports activities include swimming, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and baseball. Cultural activities will feature guitar, piano, and crafts.
Rosy Torres Ramírez, the club’s promoter, reported that since its inception, the club has served over 5,000 children, who have excelled in various sports, academic, and cultural disciplines, winning numerous competitions.
For many children, the club has been life-changing, providing an environment free from bullying where they can interact and develop genuine talents.
After starting from scratch in a basic facility without essential services, the club has grown thanks to sponsors who helped build its current infrastructure.
However, additional improvements are needed to complete the facilities and equipment.
Currently, the club is seeking donations of doors, sports equipment, and cultural workshop materials, as well as the support of volunteer instructors who make the educational activities possible.
