More than 100 students from technical secondary schools in Rosarito participated in the “Municipal Academic, Technological, Civic, and Cultural Meeting.”

This event was organized to evaluate and stimulate the academic, technological, and cultural performance of the most outstanding students from technical secondary schools.

The meeting was organized by the Secretariat of Education (SE), with participation from students, teaching staff, and educational authorities. This activity also provides an evaluation of teaching performance by promoting interdisciplinary work that involves various subjects.

The event was held at Technical Secondary School Number 37 Amado Nervo, with student representatives from Technical Secondary School Number 13 Micaela Aguilera Topete in Primo Tapia and Secondary School Number 52 in Volcanes, along with students representing the host school.

The competition allows students to meet, socialize, and measure their knowledge. It also promotes unity among young people and teachers from the schools, fostering development through by various contests where they discover their talents, demonstrate their knowledge, express their creativity, and exchange experiences.

The disciplines in which participants competed included:

Academic: Academic confrontation, mathematical skills, and writers’ meeting.

Technological: Classroom projects, school projects, community projects, and robotics.

Civic: Flag bearers (school routine).

Cultural: Oratory, declamation, chess, painting, posters, musical-vocal interpretation, and Mexican folkloric dance.
