Secondary school students recently participated in the “Science and Technology Contest” held at Lucio Blanco Secondary School, with the theme of “Research, Didactic Prototype, and Apparatus.”

The contest aimed to allow students to apply their knowledge in projects of their interest in a playful and practical manner. Winners were recognized in different categories:

Apparatus Category:

– First place: Instituto Bilingüe Santillana del Mar with their project “Safe-Alarm”

– Second place: Secundaria Micaela Aguilera Topete with their project “Collapsible Grill with Car Rim”

– Third place: Colegio Baja California with their project “Sweet Voltage”

Research Category:

– First place: Secundaria Micaela Aguilera Topete

– Second place: Secundaria Siglo XXI with their research on “Nuclear Energy in Mexico”

– Third place: Secundaria Abraham Lincoln with their research on “Artificial Intelligence: Immediate Future”

Didactic Prototype Category:

– First place: Colegio Baja California with their project “Memory Dynamics”

The top nine teams from each category advanced to the state-level contest held in Tijuana on Friday, June 14.

This event not only showcases the students’ talents but also encourages their interest and proficiency in science and technology.
