Three sold-out nights in Rosarito featured Anuel AA, Junior H, Ozuna, John Summit and a special appearance by Sean Paul
The eighth edition of Baja Beach Fest brought more than 90,000 fans from the United States, Mexico and abroad to the beaches of Rosarito, Baja California, from August 7 to 9.
With three sold-out nights, the festival brought together major names in Latin music and a broad mix of genres, including reggaeton, Mexican music, EDM, Afro-Latin sounds and emerging pop. The event combined three days of live performances with immersive experiences and a celebration of Latin culture, attracting fans from both sides of the border.
Friday’s lineup featured Anuel AA, one of the most influential voices in Latin urban music, as the day’s headliner. The opening night also included performances by Chencho Corleone, Eden Muñoz and Omar Courtz, as well as a special orchestral performance by reggaeton legend Yandel, who performed his hits accompanied by a symphony orchestra.
The EDM lineup included Steve Aoki, Ray Burger and 3BALLMTY.
Saturday brought a mix of established reggaeton artists and newer voices. Hamilton opened the day’s main-stage performances with Afro-Latin sounds, followed by J Álvarez, Zion, and Jowell & Randy.
Kenia OS performed her Latin pop repertoire, while Nicky Jam brought his signature sound to the stage. Junior H closed the night as the day’s headliner, performing hits that reflect his blend of Mexican music and urban influences, incorporating elements of banda, norteño, trap, hip-hop and reggaeton.
The festival’s final day featured Colombian artists Kapo, Manuel Turizo and Ryan Castro, along with representatives of the emerging “Reguetón Mexa” movement, including Cachirula & Loojan and El Bogueto.
Ozuna headlined Sunday night before John Summit took over the main stage for an EDM set. International artist Sean Paul also made a special appearance, adding a global element to the festival’s closing night.
Beyond the music, this year’s festival introduced its first pool area, featuring DJs from Southern California, along with additional activities throughout the weekend.
For the second consecutive year, the festival also offered a dedicated livestream experience in collaboration with SHIFU.
With another sold-out edition, Baja Beach Fest continues to attract an international audience to Rosarito. Its beachfront setting, diverse lineup and focus on Latin culture have helped establish the festival as one of the city’s major summer events.
