Traffic officers distributed flyers along Benito Juárez Boulevard to raise awareness of the updated traffic and vehicle control regulations, aiming to promote a culture of safe and responsible driving.
The flyers include recent amendments to the regulations, along with a QR code that allows drivers to access the complete details of the updates.
The campaign was led by Hugo Hernández, Director of the Secretariat for Citizen Security, and David Aguilar, Head of the Traffic Section. Together, they visited key city streets, distributing informational leaflets to both drivers and pedestrians.
“With this campaign, we aim to increase traffic awareness among our citizens and visitors. The digital tool provides quick and easy access to the full Traffic and Vehicle Control Regulations in PDF format, encouraging compliance with the rules and contributing to a safer environment for everyone,” said Mr. Hernández.
He also noted the positive response from the public, who appreciated the initiative to bring municipal services closer to the community and showed interest in learning about the new regulatory measures.
