In an effort to foster dialogue and explore initiatives to strengthen Rosarito as a premier tourist destination, authorities from all levels of government met to outline strategies for the 2025 Tianguis Turístico.
The meeting focused on topics aimed at promoting integral and sustainable tourism development in the region. It featured the participation of Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, during her first official tour of Baja California.
She met with municipal leaders to address specific issues in each locality. In Rosarito, discussions centered on preparations for hosting the Tianguis Turístico 2025 in Baja California.
Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, emphasized that these visits to individual municipalities enable the federal secretary to witness first-hand the state’s achievements in tourism infrastructure, promotion, and offerings.
This official visit underscores the commitment of both state and federal governments to establishing Baja California as a top-tier tourism destination, blending innovation, tradition, and sustainability to benefit the people of the region.
The meeting was held at a restaurant within a residential complex in Rosarito’s city center.
