As part of Baja California’s 2024 State Entrepreneurship Week, the Ministry of Economy, through the Baja California Entrepreneurship Institute, hosted a panel titled “Psychology of the Entrepreneur” at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) in the Morelos district.

The event brought together established business leaders to share their insights with university and high school students, aiming to enhance their academic knowledge and career outlook.

“The goal is to inspire them and spark an interest in entrepreneurship, as well as introduce them to the support available from the Ministry of Economy,” said Octavio Machado, a prominent figure in the restaurant industry.

He also highlighted the benefits of formalizing businesses and the resources provided by industry associations like CANIRAC.

Alfredo Pérez, another entrepreneur, discussed his journey in the coffee shop business, sharing how he diversified his venture to create multiple revenue streams within his industry.

The panel provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain insights from successful entrepreneurs, deepening their understanding of both the challenges and advantages of pursuing entrepreneurial paths.
