One of the world’s best immersive experiences has come to Baja California. The Van Gogh Immersive Exhibition at the State Arts Center (CEART) in Mexicali transports visitors into the vibrant world of Van Gogh as his works come to life in a 360-degree visual spectacle.
This unique experience, previously only available in major cities like New York or Paris, will now be showcased at CEART and made accessible to all Baja California residents.
The State Secretary of Culture will be gifting 10,000 tickets and providing transportation for people living in remote areas, according to Secretary Alma Delia Ábrego Ceballos, who emphasized during the opening that “Baja California has culture.”
The exhibition opens with a mosaic mural created by children from DIF Mexicali, which will tour various cities after the Van Gogh exhibition concludes.
The show combines advanced technology and creativity to make Van Gogh’s paintings move and vibrate, creating a one-of-a-kind sensory world.
The 360-degree immersive hall, hailed as the best in the world, offers a 45-minute projection where Van Gogh’s iconic works come to life.
Bringing the world’s best immersive experience to Baja California not only positions the state as a cultural reference point but also seeks to democratize access to art and extend it to vulnerable communities.
