One of the most anticipated attractions during autumn are the fields of various flowers and vegetables in the ranches of the city, particularly the cempasúchil crops at the end of October, which are used to decorate altars and graves during the Day of the Dead celebration.

At El Carrizo Ranch, located at the entrance to Cañón Rosarito, the abundant harvest is already visible, intended for local sale and regional wholesalers. As in previous years, the traditional orange flower has been planted, which can be seen from a stretch of the Scenic Highway.

Jorge Hinojo noted that this flower is cultivated every year with all necessary care, from fertilizers to natural insecticides, to produce a quality flower that leaves a positive impression on visitors.

Fortunately, as in previous years, water is not lacking due to the presence of wells within the ranch, although it is known that the state faces a shortage of this vital resource.

However, care is taken to ensure that both vegetable and flower crops continue to thrive in this area, which has endured thanks to the citizens and the promotion it has received in recent years.
