Expressing gratitude to the more than 500 attendees, sponsors, wineries from Valle de Guadalupe, and participating restaurants, the Rosarito Rotary Club held the second edition of the 2024 Wine Festival last at CEART.
Penélope Soria Félix, who attended on behalf of District 4100 Rotary Governor Elibé Medina Valencia, expressed her satisfaction with this great event in which the Rosarito Rotarians fulfill their mission of serving the community.
“The main mission of Rotary is to serve, and when Rotarians are serving as they are on this occasion, they not only change lives but also strengthen bonds with the community,” she said.
“When you see the turnout from this club and all of you enjoying in harmony and friendship, I believe that together, you and they are achieving Rotary’s goal.”
Rosarito Rotary Club President Daniel Mario Escobar Vargas thanked the wineries for traveling from Valle de Guadalupe to support and participate in this event, in addition to promoting the wine route of Valle de Guadalupe.
One of the causes is to support Casa Hogar Horizontes, which cares for vulnerable children; another is the Multiple Care Center (CAM Laboral), which prepares young people with disabilities/
A third cause is to provide scholarships to children and young people who wish to study music and arts at CEART, in a program promoted by Marco Antonio Nuño Sánchez, who was present at the event.
Attendees were able to taste wines from Valle de Guadalupe, as well as a wide variety of gastronomic samples prepared by the best restaurants and chefs in Baja California, highlighting the participation of nationally recognized traditional cuisine chef Josefina Sánchez, from Hacienda Badú.
Some of the participating wineries included Don Tomas, Martlot, Norte 32, Barón Balché, Xecue, El Laurel, Rancho María Teresa, JC Bravo, Fratelli Pasini, Marea Norte, and Vinos 63, among others.
