The community of Santa Anita, with the support of the State’s Citizen Security Secretariat, has created a mural at the community center—a space that was reclaimed by residents after health services were discontinued there.
The mural aims to foster a sense of belonging and beautify the environment, providing a more positive outlook for the community, especially for children and young people in the area.
This is the second mural to be created, and it holds significant importance as it encourages community participation and generates a sense of ownership, leading to the preservation of what has been accomplished, said community leader Brenda Pinto.
She expressed her gratitude to both the community and the secretariat and mentioned that preparations are already underway for another mural to be completed in October.
This space also serves as a sub-delegation, though unofficially, offering services such as birth certificate processing and marriage ceremonies with the support of the Primo Tapia delegation.
It also facilitates the issuance of non-criminal background certificates by the federal government.
