For the fourth consecutive year, restaurants affiliated with CANIRAC and the Pro Firefighters Board have launched the “Hydration and Major Contingency 2024” campaign.

The primary goal of this initiative is to support the Fire Department and the Aquatic Rescue Division by providing hydrating beverages and food during the summer and wildfire season.

The campaign involves the participation of Rosarito restaurants affiliated with the National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry (CANIRAC), which will supply food to the Aquatic Rescue Division throughout the summer.

Additionally, the Pro Firefighters civil association will offer its office as a collection and distribution point, where citizens and other businesses can donate essential supplies and provisions.

“Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference,” said Briza Guerrero, director of the Pro Firefighters board.

“We invite everyone to participate. Together, we can create a strong support network for our uniformed heroes, ensuring they always have the resources they need to continue protecting us,”

Octavio Machado, president of CANIRAC, expressed gratitude for the support from all the restaurateurs towards firefighters and lifeguards during the summer season.
