Music, art, and talent are alive and thriving at the Club de Niños y Niñas, which is about to celebrate its 13th anniversary in Rosarito.

This was confirmed by racquetball champion Rosy Torres, who highlighted how music workshops, led by talented instructors, are uncovering young talent in piano, guitar, violin, and cello among children and teens aged 6 to 16.

The club’s founder and director emphasized the immense benefits this project brings to Rosarito, stressing the importance of scholarships and motivation to keep students engaged in their courses, which remain highly affordable.

“Here, we welcome all children without distinction. We also offer scholarships to those excelling in music, sports, education, and personal development. Our mission is to keep moving forward, inspiring, and empowering children to discover their talents.”

She also recalled that this international program has produced outstanding leaders and figures, including former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as sports legends and celebrities such as Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson.

Rosy Torres pointed out that the monthly tuition is just 100 pesos, making it almost symbolic. Many students receive scholarships when they demonstrate talent and commitment.

“Even our teachers are amazed at the transformation of students who were once restless in public schools but are now role models in their communities.”

Despite its 25,000 square feet of facilities, the Club de Niños y Niñas, located next to Rosarito’s industrial zone, faces challenges in continuing to grow. One of its biggest needs is a school bus to transport students to and from the club safely.
