The Rosarito Rotary Club was honored as Forjador 2023, an accolade presented by the Madrugadores Group, in recognition of its altruistic and humanitarian efforts for vulnerable communities and others in the city.

The award ceremony took place in the Las Américas Hall of the Rosarito Beach Hotel, where the Madrugadores Group held a change of board leadership, with Lic. Miguel Ángel Lazcano assuming the presidency.

During the ceremony, founding member Hugo Eduardo Torres, congratulated both the Madrugadores and Rotarians for being organizations that always strive to offer community service.

Mr. Torres also encouraged them to continue giving their best, providing proposals, persevering, and using dialogue and reason.

This, he noted, has distinguished the Rosarito Madrugadores Group for the past 50 years, since he requested its formation in the municipality.

For his part, the president of the Rosarito Rotary Club, Daniel Mario Escobar Vargas, expressed gratitude on behalf of the organization for the honor and reaffirmed the club’s  commitment to continually seek opportunities to improve living conditions in the community and invest in future generations.

He highlighted their collaboration with leaders who aim to work on projects that create a real and lasting impact.
