The Boys and Girls Club of Rosarito will host a grand fundraising fair (“kermés”) on Friday, October 24, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

The event aims to raise funds to continue the Club’s regular activities and strengthen its role as a positive and educational space for local children and teens.

Club promoter Rosy Torres Ramírez invited the community to attend and support this important project, which since its creation has played a key role in the growth and development of hundreds of young Rosaritenses.

She noted that many talented students have emerged from the Club over the years — excelling in academics, arts, culture, and sports.

Visitors will enjoy traditional food, games, music, raffles, prizes, and lots of fun. To make the day even more special, the Club’s students will present a music and folkloric dance performance, showcasing what they’ve learned in their cultural workshops.

The Boys and Girls Club is located on Avenida del Viento, in the Lucio Blanco neighborhood.

Since its founding 13 years ago, the Club has served nearly 5,000 children and teens, offering workshops and recreational activities that promote artistic, athletic, and personal development.

To continue providing these valuable programs, the Boys and Girls Club depends on the support of the community, volunteers, and local businesses, and continues to seek sponsors to help sustain its operations.
