Executives from Hyundai Mexico, based in Rosarito, have made a financial donation to the local Red Cross to help cover operational costs, confirmed Sergio Conrado Hernández Tovalín, director of the humanitarian organization.

“Today we received a valuable donation from Hyundai, delivered by Ing. Fernando Ruiz, General Manager of Public Relations,” said Hernández Tovalín.

The contribution, totaling $10,000 USD, will help the Rosarito Red Cross continue responding to the more than 450 emergency calls it handles each month.

Hernández Tovalín, who also serves as president of the local board of directors, thanked Hyundai for being a socially responsible company and for maintaining a strong relationship with the Rosarito delegation to stay informed about its needs.

Just six months ago, the same company donated a fully equipped ambulance to Rosarito’s Fire Department, aimed at improving response times for injured patients.

The Red Cross director added that the organization is currently conducting its annual fundraising campaign and remains committed to securing ongoing support to provide essential services for both residents and visitors in Rosarito.
