Third- and fourth-grade elementary school teachers took part in the “Proyect-Arts” congress, an initiative aimed at integrating theater, dance, and visual arts into classroom projects as part of the New Mexican School educational model.
Marcos Ernesto Macías Briones, State Director of Primary Education at the State Education Secretariat, explained that the main goal of the event was to enrich teaching and encourage creativity in the classroom through the arts.
Over two days, teachers worked with artistic languages as a foundation to develop pedagogical projects aligned with educational fields, fostering creative, aesthetic, and humanistic learning in students.
Finally, Macías Briones emphasized that this congress is the result of collaborative efforts and a shared commitment to transforming education and shaping well-rounded students.
He noted that teachers in Rosarito are following a work plan focused on integrating artistic languages, and by the end of the school year, a statewide forum is expected to be held to showcase the developed educational projects.
