The Rosarito Beach Hotel has joined as a sponsor of Mexico’s largest charity event, the cycling race “La Ruta de la Esperanza,” organized by the Castro Limón Foundation to raise funds for children undergoing cancer treatment.

For the first time, the race will start from the Rosarito Beach Hotekon Saturday, April 5, at 9am. The finish line will be at Bibayoff Vineyards after a 70-kilometer route.

During the event announcement, Hugo Antonio Torres, Chairman of the Board of Hotel Rosarito, acknowledged the Castro Limón Foundation’s efforts in supporting children with cancer.

He also announced that the hotel is now officially part of this family of benefactors.

“Our deepest appreciation to the Castro Limón Foundation and everyone who makes this event possible, bringing hope to children with cancer. We are fully committed to supporting the foundation and are providing our resources to ensure the event’s success,” said Hugo Torres Ramírez.

Additionally, he announced a special booking code offering discounted rates for those wishing to stay at Hotel Rosarito during the event.

The young patients expressed their gratitude to Castro Limón Foundation, sponsors, and cyclists whose participation contributes directly to their treatment.

In 2024 alone, the Castro Limón Foundation declared nine patients cancer-free and welcomed 24 new children into its care, bringing the total number of patients receiving free, comprehensive medical attention to 84.

Since its inception, the foundation has successfully helped 126 children overcome cancer and has provided assistance to over 300 families.
