Following the recent fires that impacted several families, Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz met with victims in Primo Tapia to provide immediate assistance and oversee the reconstruction of their homes.
Accompanied by Secretary General Santos de Jesús Alvarado Avena and other cabinet members, Adame Muñoz led a damage assessment tour, coordinating a work plan among the various municipal departments involved.
“We are here to follow up on the actions we will take and to support all affected families so they can rebuild their homes—this time with concrete,” the mayor stated.
During the visit, she distributed 26 birth certificates and made available the programs and services offered by different municipal agencies.
The affected families expressed their gratitude to the mayor for directly intervening and witnessing firsthand the vulnerable situation they now face.
They also thanked the volunteers who have shown solidarity by donating food and essential supplies.
Meanwhile, the Department of Urban Services continues working in the affected area, focusing on cleaning efforts and debris removal to help restore the community.
