As part of Police Day celebrations, members of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), organized civic groups, and the Rosarito Municipal Government honored the officers of the Secretariat of Public Safety.

The event kicked off with the first athletic race of the year, supported by local sports clubs. The race began at 8am at the Andrés Luna Sports Complex and concluded at the Police Command Center in the Rancho Chula Vista neighborhood.
Participants, including police officers, were welcomed by municipal authorities and private sector representatives, who brought gifts for raffles held during the celebration.
For the first time in five years, the business sector was invited to the public safety facilities, where they reaffirmed their commitment to the Secretariat of Public Safety.
Contributions included televisions, electronics, and appliances for raffles held during the event.
In addition, 34 restaurants affiliated with the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (CANIRAC) offered hundreds of meal vouchers.
“We participated in the event to build stronger connections and dialogue, and to express our gratitude for their support and commitment to society,” said Octavio Machado, president of the restaurant sector.
Gustavo Torres, president of the CCE, praised the municipal administration for fostering open dialogue, especially with the police force.
During the past administration, there was little engagement with the police, but now things are different, and we are pleased with this openness,” Torres stated.
He added that the business community is committed to listening to and supporting police officers’ needs as part of a mutual commitment to public safety.
Just as the police must be committed to society, society must also support those who work to ensure our safety. We will continue collaborating with the police for everyone’s benefit”, Torres emphasized.
Mayor Adame acknowledged the dedication of law enforcement officers and presented 15 outstanding officers with an incentive of 10,000 pesos each as a token of gratitude for their service.
This initiative strengthens ties and recognizes their vital contribution to Rosarito’s safety.
