The United Society of Baja California, representing a significant portion of the foreign resident community in the city, awarded a well-deserved recognition to Gabriela Rincón, director of the Office of Foreign Residents, for her invaluable support and attention in strengthening and contributing to this sector of the population.
“We have had a very strong relationship with the association, and that’s why the United Society of Baja California awarded us recognition for supporting the organization. As we are nearing the end of this municipal administration, it was fitting to recognize the staff during the monthly meeting,” stated Rincón.
In celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day, a video about the struggle for independence was shown, and a group of young dancers performed a folk dance, making the meeting a very special occasion, added the director.
According to city data, Rosarito is the second city in Mexico with the highest number of foreign residents, exceeding 15,000 Americans. This community is a fundamental pillar for the city’s development, making it essential to maintain open and close communication between the authorities and this sector.
