during weekend
By Delia Ruelas
Water rescues continue, as two people were rescued by lifeguards on the afternoon of Saturday, July 20, one at the central beach and another at La Misión.
Another rescue took place on the afternoon of Sunday, July 21. In all cases, people heeded the lifeguards’ recommendations.
There are high wave conditions along the region’s coasts, which is why lifeguards maintain constant surveillance.
It is recommended to avoid swimming during high waves, as this type of tide creates dangerous rip currents that can pull swimmers in immediately and complicate rescues due to the size of the waves.
