Members of the Pro Municipio Committee and educational authorities unveiled a plaque commemorating the 61st anniversary of the founding of Secondary School #32 Abraham Lincoln.
They also inaugurated various maintenance works within the school premises.
During the event, it was reported that completed works included the replacement of metal roofs in several classrooms, among other minor maintenance projects at the school.
These efforts were supported through the Multiple Contribution Fund Program with an investment of 5,154,000 pesos.
Additionally, a shade structure was installed in the school’s courtyard with resources provided by the State Welfare Secretariat.
Furthermore, a plaque was unveiled to mark the 61st anniversary of the school’s founding, as it was the first secondary school established in Rosarito on September 2, 1963.
The unveiling ceremony was supported by the Rosarito Economic Development Advisory Council (CCDER) and efforts from the Pro Municipio Group to commemorate and highlight the founding of this school and others.
Matías Ruiz López, the school’s director, expressed gratitude for the plaque which pays homage to educational values and principles, and serves as a reminder of the commitment to future generations.
