Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez, the Secretary of Tourism for Baja California, announced plans for Rosarito to establish its first inclusive beach for individuals with disabilities.

Although the specific location was not disclosed, he assured that resources have been allocated for its adaptation.

“We are already working to create an inclusive beach where people with disabilities can access and enjoy what Rosarito’s beaches have to offer,” he said.

“We are coordinating with the Ministry of Inclusion to determine the exact location, but we have secured the resources to implement it.” A

In response to questions about the suspension of support through the “Corazones Viajeros” program, which provided transportation for therapy beneficiaries, he confirmed that the program would resume following the conclusion of the electoral period.

He emphasized the return of the “Corazones Viajeros” program, which facilitates transportation for children and youth with disabilities to Rosarito for free surf therapy sessions under the “Waves for All” program by the Local Surf School.

“We will continue supporting these surf schools so that children can enjoy this program,” he added.
