Valeria Bermúdez from Rosario, 2023 State Rodeo Champion in the Barrels discipline, demonstrated once again why she holds that title by obtaining the best time in all categories of her discipline at the traditional Mision Festival Rodeo. Together with his colleagues from the La Misión Cowboy Club, he achieved first places in their respective categories during this event, a symbol of heritage, identity and tradition that attracts both locals and foreigners.
Among the winners of the event are Javier García from Club de la Misión, Gabriel Gómez from Tijuana, Silvia González from Tijuana, Roxana Morillon from Ensenada, Esperanza Diego from La Misión and Valeria Bermúdez.
The event, which took place last Sunday, had a large attendance of participants and spectators who enjoyed various rodeo disciplines, such as Pretal Horses, Saddled Horses and Bull Riding. These disciplines are rated by attributes such as degree of difficulty, restraint, control, technique, power and courage.
In the time discipline, the Barrel Race was presented, where competitors are evaluated by the speed and time in which they execute the race against the clock.
