More than 3,500 personnel have been deployed across Baja California, maintaining a strong presence at beaches, highways, and key tourist destinations as part of a coordinated effort to ensure visitor safety.

Authorities have implemented a statewide operation covering all seven municipalities, with teams stationed along major roads, coastal areas, tourist zones, parks, and high-traffic recreational spaces.

The official launch took place at the Metropolitan Convention Center in Playas de Rosarito, led by Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda and Mayor María del Rocío Adame Muñoz, alongside representatives from all three levels of government.

The operation is structured around five key priorities: prevention, community engagement, continuous monitoring, road safety, and institutional coordination—allowing for a more effective response to any situation.

Participating agencies include the Ministry of National Defense, the Navy, the National Guard, the State Attorney’s Office, municipal police departments, Civil Protection, fire departments, and the Red Cross.

Efforts also include highway patrols, checkpoints, sobriety checkpoints, tourist assistance modules, and increased foot and motorcycle patrols in strategic areas.

Authorities emphasized that the goal is for visitors to enjoy a safe stay, return home without incident, and leave with a positive impression of Baja California.

With this coordinated deployment, the state reinforces a safe and reliable environment for tourism year-round, particularly during high-travel periods.
