Rosarito’s rising tennis talent, Frida Mendoza Salazar, delivered an impressive performance at the Baja California Grade 3 Tournament, winning both the singles and doubles titles.

The regional event — open to players ages 12 to 18 and sanctioned by the Mexican Tennis Federation (FMT) — took place October 31 to November 2 at Club Campestre Tijuana and was organized by the Baja California Tennis Association.

Mendoza trains at the Rosarito High Performance Center (CAR) under coach Héctor Aguirre Cruz, whose guidance has strengthened her technical and mental development on the junior circuit.

With this double win, Frida cements her place among the state’s top young tennis players and continues to position herself as one to watch in Mexican youth tennis.
