The fifth edition of the Rosarito Rotary Club’s Opera a la Mexicana will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Centro Estatal de las Artes Rosarito (CEART).

All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward scholarships for CEART students, as well as other Rotary Club projects that benefit underprivileged children in Rosarito, said club president Rosario Castillo.

Tickets are priced at 600 pesos through November 1, and 650 pesos afterward until the day of the event. Admission includes a complimentary glass of local artisan wine courtesy of We Know Vino, Rosarito’s only wine bar and tasting room.

Rotary Club public relations representative Jorge Roberto Villanueva Ulibarri explained that part of the club’s mission is to promote the arts—especially among younger generations—so the scholarships will help ensure that students can continue their studies in culture and the arts at CEART.

Scheduled to perform at Opera a la Mexicana are artists Norma Navarrete (soprano), Jorge Chinolla (baritone), Kyra Liz (soprano), José Plazola (tenor), Hemily Santana (violin), Carlos Keller (trumpet), and Iván Mares (piano and musical direction).

The Rotary Club invites everyone to attend and enjoy this spectacular evening of top-level talent while supporting a noble cause. Tickets are available now at We Know Vino—get yours before prices go up on November 1!
