Municipal President Rocío Adame Muñoz delivered the first home to one of the families affected by the fires that occurred in January 2025 in the Primo Tapia delegation.
Mrs. Liliana Rodríguez, a resident of the Paisaje de México neighborhood and mother of four children, was the first beneficiary.
Upon receiving the keys to her new house, she expressed her gratitude to the mayor and the Juventud con una Misión foundation, as thanks to them, her family now has a safe place to live.
It is worth remembering that in January of this year, Mrs. Rodríguez lost her home in a forest fire, leaving her and her children homeless. They spent many nights sleeping in their vehicle.

“Today we celebrate a day of hope, proof of what we can achieve through teamwork. Joining forces with organizations like Juventud con una Misión for building homes for vulnerable families through their Casas de Esperanza ministry has allowed us to make substantial progress and offer a comprehensive solution,” said Adame Muñoz.
The mayor also expressed her deep solidarity with other affected families and announced that new homes would soon be delivered.
On her part, the Secretary of Municipal Social Welfare, Ilsee Rodríguez Ramos, informed that complementary work was carried out to ensure the comfort and functionality of the home, such as the construction of a full bathroom, the adaptation of the existing septic tank, the installation of a perimeter fence for added security, the placement of gravel, and the leveling of the land.
Additionally, the necessary infrastructure for electricity supply, such as the installation of the mufa and wiring, was completed.
