Marco Antonio Nuño Sánchez, coordinator of CEART Rosarito, attended as a guest at a monthly meeting hosted by the Office for Foreign Residents, where he presented the center’s 2026 program of activities to members of the American resident community.

The outreach aims to integrate the foreign community into CEART’s cultural programming by sharing its 2026 events calendar while also promoting culture as a key tourism attraction.

During the meeting, Nuño Sánchez outlined the year’s scheduled events as well as ongoing cultural workshops, creating a space for dialogue and addressing attendees’ questions and cultural interests.

CEART Rosarito has become a leading cultural venue for tourism promotion, offering a wide range of artistic events that attract visitors from the United States. One recent example is the Third Laboratory for the Development of Performing Arts, which concluded last weekend with two standout Mexican opera concerts attended by members of the American resident community.

The performances were the result of an intensive week of preparation by accomplished vocalists, guided by renowned instructors: Dr. Enid Negrete, Dr. Rocío Tamez, Dr. Antonio Espinal, Dr. Carlos Conde, Maestro Iván Mares, and Maestro Javier Carrillo, who shared their expertise and contributed to the participants’ professional development.

“The goal of sparking interest and continuing to promote Mexican opera in our region has been achieved. We look forward to welcoming you again soon to continue sharing the art of opera,” CEART said following the successful performances.
