The Rosarito State Center for the Arts (CEART) has prepared a lively calendar of artistic and cultural events for October, with several activities taking place not only at its venue but also in local schools and the iconic Hotel Rosarito—declared cultural heritage of Baja California.

Marco Antonio Nuño Sánchez, coordinator of CEART Rosarito, highlighted that this rich program is possible thanks to the support of schools such as COBACH Primer Ayuntamiento and the Estado 29 elementary school in Colonia Morelos, which opened their doors to host events.
This is the 24th edition of the October Festival, titled Territories of Peace, running from October 1 through November 8.
On October 2, the play Dad Went to War by Mexico City’s theater company “Quemar el Futuro” was staged for students of COBACH Primer Ayuntamiento. The performance, geared to audiences ages 9 and up, was part of a cultural partnership designed to spark interest in the arts among younger generations. Students also toured CEART facilities to experience its cultural offerings firsthand.
October 6, a didactic concert titled Of Flute and Drum will be presented by renowned teachers from the State Music System. The performance begins at 9 a.m. at Benemérito de las Américas elementary school in Primo Tapia. Admission is free.
October 10, the Lola Lince Contemporary Dance Company from Guanajuato will perform at the CEART forum at 7 p.m., also with free entry.
October 16, the company Juglaria, Circo y Narración from Puebla will bring its show Talking About Peace Never Hurts, combining circus arts and music with storytelling. The event, open to children and families, takes place at Estado 29 elementary school in Colonia Morelos at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free.
October 22, CEART will host the multidisciplinary performance Agronautas at 4 p.m., aimed at teens and adults. Students from COBACH Primer Ayuntamiento are special guests, but the event is open to the public.
