Members of the “Cachorros de Rosarito” Fut7 Club earned a championship title and high praise for their performance in the recent Fut7 league season finale held at CIX Hipódromo.
The Playas de Rosarito municipal government, through the Municipal Sports Institute (IMDER), congratulated and formally recognized the team’s outstanding participation, highlighting their talent, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
The 2011–2012 age group took home the championship, while the 2013–2014 and 2017–2018 categories secured impressive second-place finishes — establishing the club as one of the most competitive teams in the league.
These achievements reflect the team’s dedication to consistent training, as well as the support and commitment of coaches, families, and the broader Rosarito community in promoting youth athletic development.
Their involvement in local tournaments not only enhances physical fitness but also fosters key values such as teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie.
IMDER reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sports as a tool for holistic youth development. Through the city government of Playas de Rosarito, the institute will continue promoting athletic spaces, programs, and competitions that help more children and young people grow in healthy, sports-oriented environments.
