Volunteer coach steps up to build a future for kids on two wheels
Joining efforts to promote community sports, Abraham Robles Sikiseka has volunteered his time and expertise to train children in Rancho 40 in the practice of BMX and mountain biking.

Following the successful celebration of the first BMX race organized by the Rosarito City Council in Rancho 40, the coach committed to establishing a BMX school for children and teenagers.
With extensive training and experience in both mountain and road cycling, Abraham Robles has coached his son to compete in official mountain biking events — a young athlete who won third place in a state championship in 2021.
He will now extend his training to young people in the Rancho 40 community as part of the City of Rosarito’s youth sports development program.
The recent BMX race served as a springboard to inspire the creation of a small children’s BMX school.
Seeing the excitement of children participating in sporting events — and with support from the Rosarito City Council to equip Rancho 40’s community park with a BMX track — the cycling expert was inspired to launch this youth initiative.
In addition to promoting mountain biking as an entry-level sport, the program will also prepare teenagers for official competitions organized by the Tijuana Mountain Biking Commission.
Abraham Robles Sikiseka emphasized the strong support for sports from IMDER, led by Francisco Carrasco Beltrán, as a key motivator for coaches and trainers to build youth teams and grassroots programs across various disciplines.
