The Semillero Creativo de Teatro in Rosarito held its Huella Comunitaria event at the Rancho 40 Community Center on Friday, Feb. 28.

The activity featured a story marathon, where children and attendees participated in read-aloud sessions using a microphone, making it an engaging event open to the general public.

Children freely explored a selection of children’s and young adult literature, choosing books to share with the audience.

The Huella Comunitaria initiative is part of the Semilleros Creativos program, which aims to strengthen the bond between participants and their community through artistic and cultural activities.

Semilleros Creativos are free artistic training groups present nationwide, designed to foster community engagement among children and youth. Through art, cultural diversity, and creativity, the program promotes peace, social participation, and safe spaces for young individuals.
