In 2025, Rosarito will host a total of 24 running events, averaging nearly two per month, as announced during the presentation of the Annual Activities Calendar by the Municipal Sports Institute (IMDER).

The races are designed to be family-friendly, with 21 out of the 24 events allowing participants to walk, jog, or run. The exceptions include two half marathons and a cross-country race.

One of the most anticipated events is the traditional “Imposing Rosarito Circuit” series, which consists of five organized events coordinated by local sports clubs. Participants will receive themed medals for each event.

Sports promoter Raúl Quiroz Quezada, president of the Municipal Athletics League, stated that the league aims to promote social mobility, humanization, and inclusion.

Notably, March will see the launch of the first Rosarito Municipal Baseball Academy Athletic Race on March 15, along with the first phase of the Imposing Rosarito Circuit 2025, themed “Crazy Hairstyles.”

On June 1, the Club Jaguares Anniversary Race will take place, featuring a 5-kilometer distance. The same month, Rosarito will host the 9th International Half Marathon.

In July, the Fire Run 5K will support local firefighters, and in August, the much-anticipated fourth phase of the Imposing Rosarito Circuit 2025, called “La Vaquerona,” will be held.

Special running events will take place throughout the year, offering opportunities for the whole family to participate.
