The Rosarito branch of the Mexican Red Cross received a generous donation from Hyundai—a check for $10,000, which will be used to continue responding to 911 emergency calls from the public and to maintain the electrical substation at the organization’s facility.
Sergio Conrado Hernández Tovalin, President of the Board of Directors for the Rosarito branch, expressed his gratitude to Hyundai representatives and to Engineer Fernando Ruiz Arce, Hyundai’s Director of Public Relations and Legal Affairs, for consistently reaching out to understand the organization’s needs.
“We need more people like engineer Fernando Ruiz Arce, who help without expecting anything in return. Thank you very much. With these donations, we can maintain our facilities, equip our units, and, most importantly, continue responding to the more than 500 emergency calls we receive each month,” Hernández Tovalin said.
The board president also highlighted that Hyundai’s recent donation of two ambulances is already making a difference; one ambulance is in active service, while the second serves as a backup, enhancing the branch’s ability to respond to emergencies.
“The ambulances donated to us have been marked with our insignia, and they’ve already proven invaluable in emergencies, serving the community as we respond to urgent calls,” he said.
