During the session of the Public Space Recovery and Anti-Graffiti Commission, the Pro Municipality Committee presented its request to create a mural celebrating the 30th anniversary of Rosarito becoming a city.

The group asked to be allocated a space within the City Hall to create a mural that reflects “Rosaritense Roots.”

They proposed to restore, sponsor, and use a wall adjacent to the stairs within City Hall, either on the second or third floor of the building.

Dalia Salazar, the councilwoman in charge of the commission, stated that she will present the committee’s proposal at the next city council meeting for approval or adjustments.

She will also initiate a call for collaboration with other entities that may assist if the proposal is approved.
