Rosarito racquetball player Karime Estrella won another gold medal at the CONADE 2024 Youth Olympics held in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Teaming up with her partner Fernanda Trujillo, they defeated the duo representing Chihuahua in a highly competitive final with scores of 13-11, 5-11, 11-6, 12-10.

This victory adds to the collection of medals Ms. Estrella has earned in previous consecutive editions of the National and World Youth Racquetball Championships since 2012, an achievement attained by very few champions.

Her performance on the court brought pride to her team, family, friends, and the entire community of Rosarito and Baja California. She faced off against the best racquetball players in the country.
The Rosarito champion has been training at the High-Performance Center in Tijuana since 2012, and also at the Racquetball Club at the Rosarito Hotel, directed by Rosy Torres. Her supporters extended their gratitude to Ms. Torres for the training facilities and coaching she provided.
