The Safe Commerce program has shown positive results in preventing crimes in Rosarito, with dozens of businesses joining this security strategy promoted by the municipal government.

Strategic Surveillance and Quick Response

Officer Christian Pérez, head of the Commercial Section Police, reported that the program reinforces surveillance in shopping centers, banks, and workplaces.

“The main goal is to engage with the community, but also to send a clear message to criminals: authorities are alert and ready to act immediately,” he emphasized.

Training and Security Prevention

Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz invited business owners and merchants to participate in free workshops as part of the program, held from February 10 to 12 at the X3 Delegation.

In coordination with Civil Protection and Firefighters, the program includes training on security, support networks, conflict mediation, and first aid, covering topics such as:

✅ Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

✅ Fracture immobilization

✅ Hemorrhage control

The goal is for business owners and their staff to learn how to respond effectively to emergencies and strengthen security in their establishments.
