As part of its commitment to social responsibility and giving back to the community, Hyundai México has made a significant donation to the Rosarito Civil Protection and Fire Department.

The contribution included $10,000 and a fully equipped ambulance, enhancing the department’s emergency response capabilities.

The donation ceremony took place at the Central Fire Station, attended by representatives from the Firefighters’ Support Foundation (Patronato Pro Bomberos) and local government officials.

Mayor Rocío Adame expressed her gratitude for the generosity and dedication to the community.

She highlighted the importance of the donation, which provides critical support to the fire department, enabling them to deliver better emergency care and response.

Fernando Ruiz Arce, director of Hyundai México in Rosarito, remarked, “We are deeply thankful, and what better way to give back to the community than by helping protect lives. This donation is our way of showing our commitment and returning a part of what we receive.”

Brisa Guerrero, director of the Firefighters’ Support Foundation, shared that the donated funds will be used to purchase a new drone, replacing the previous one damaged during a search operation for a missing youth in Cabo Delfin.

Additionally, the funds will help establish a monitoring center for Civil Protection and Firefighters, a vital resource for disaster prevention and management.
