Rosarito is once again making waves for inclusive travel experiences as the nonprofit Olas para Todos launches its annual series of free surf therapy sessions for people with disabilities.

Led by Carlos Luna, the program kicks off Saturday, April 25, at Playa Raul’s and welcomes participants of all ages—from children over six to adults—at no cost.

Sessions will be held on the last Saturday of each month through November, with around 60 participants expected per event. More than just a day at the beach, the program creates a supportive and uplifting space where the ocean becomes a source of confidence, joy, and personal growth.

To ensure a safe and positive experience, volunteers are receiving first aid training, while community workshops are being offered to strengthen emergency response skills when assisting people with disabilities.

Advance registration is required and will be available through links shared on Olas para Todos’ social media pages in the weeks leading up to each session, helping organizers prepare and provide the best possible experience for participants.

Carlos Luna noted that, for the first time, the organization has secured most of the resources needed to sustain the program throughout the year, thanks to strong community support and fundraising efforts. He added that the initiative continues to welcome new volunteers interested in being part of a meaningful and life-changing experience.
