With a large and enthusiastic turnout, the City of Rosarito organized its annual civic–military parade commemorating the anniversary of the Mexican Revolution.
The participation of the National Guard and the Mexican Army stood out as they showcased modern equipment and weaponry, drawing strong attention from spectators.
In total, the parade featured 58 elementary and middle schools, four high schools, nursing schools, sports clubs, karate schools, community associations, senior clubs, equestrian groups, municipal police, and units from the Army and National Guard.
The Army and National Guard received the loudest applause from the crowd, including preschool and elementary students who also took part in the parade.
Although some business owners expressed frustration over the partial closure of the boulevard—blocked for at least three hours during the event—many families enjoyed the colorful and well-attended parade, made possible through the joint effort of civil society and local authorities.
The purpose of the parade was to promote national identity, civic respect, and family unity, fostering pride in Mexican traditions and strengthening the community’s sense of belonging.
With this event, the 10th Municipal Administration of Playas de Rosarito reaffirms its commitment to supporting activities that promote culture, civic values, and citizen participation throughout the municipality.
