The representative team of Hotel Rosarito delivered a standout performance in the “Monday Tournament” indoor soccer league, earning third place in the 20–30 age category on October 27 at Arena 7 fields.
Led by team captain Alejandro Sánchez, the young hotel employees celebrated an exciting achievement after competing against 24 local teams in a highly competitive and community-focused event.
Formed just this past June, the team entered the tournament as a new squad, demonstrating strong teamwork and rapid development on the field.
Captain Sánchez expressed pride in his team’s performance and recognized the dedication of every player who proudly represented the iconic Hotel Rosarito.
The team is made up of employees from various hotel departments, including security, waitstaff, cashiers, and service staff. Team members include:
- Captain: Alejandro Sánchez
- Forwards: Ángel Maldonado, Bryan Ociel, Jesús Huerta, Adrián Alemán, José Ledezma
- Midfielder: Samuel Romero
- Defenders: Brandon Beltrán (wing), Vicente López (center)
- Goalkeeper: Esteban Padilla
The decisive match for third place was a 7–2 victory over Deportivo Hernández. Proyecto FC, a team with a formal training academy, claimed first place, while the second-place spot went to Extranjeros, a team formed by construction company employees.
