The State Center for the Arts in Rosarito (CEART) is inviting the community to take part in free artistic workshops being offered in various community and educational spaces across the city.

These activities are part of the federal program Support for State Cultural Institutions 2025, designed to promote access to culture and the arts in all sectors of the population.

Marco Antonio Nuño Sánchez, coordinator of CEART Playas de Rosarito, explained that the workshops will run from September through December, with the goal of creating spaces for learning, creativity, and community.

“All activities are free of charge and represent an opportunity to learn, create, and strengthen the cultural life of the community, fostering artistic expression in an inclusive and participatory environment,” he said.

The range of itinerant workshops includes:

  • Introduction to Music, with José Luis García Mora, for participants ages 9 and up.
  • Visual Arts, with Eddy Johnny Benítez Jiménez, for participants ages 7 and up.
  • Youth Theater, with Isabel Cárdenas Limón, offered to students at CECyTE Plan Libertador.
  • Modern Dance, with Sandra L. Rubio Flores, offered to students at COBACH Primer Ayuntamiento.

In addition, CEART is hosting the workshop series Embroidery and Unraveling Vol. II, taking place from August 21 through December 10, 2025. This project is directed at women with a feminist focus, providing a space for dialogue, memory, and expression through embroidery. The three open workshops are:
