Over 250 mothers and fathers successfully completed the “School for Families” workshop, a program promoted by the Rosarito municipal government with the support of volunteer facilitators.

The initiative provides guidance and resources to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children, while promoting healthier and more harmonious family environments.

Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz led the closing ceremony, held at Abraham Lincoln Middle School (Secundaria 32), where she emphasized the importance of building stronger communities by starting at the heart: the family.

“Programs like School for Families are essential to fostering a more empathetic, informed, and resilient society,” the mayor said. She also thanked Principal Matías Ruiz for his active involvement, which she said reinforces the collaboration between the education sector and local government in support of Rosarito’s families.

Certificates were awarded to parents who stood out for their participation, and special recognition was given to the volunteer facilitators—women deeply committed to their community who selflessly lead the workshops and generate a lasting, positive impact in local households.

The event brought together more than 250 parents who took part in this intensive program, aimed at strengthening family bonds and improving emotional and communication skills at home.
