The celebration continues at the historic Rosarito Beach Hotel as it marks its 101st anniversary with a grand seaside concert.
Hugo Antonio Torres Ramírez, president of the hotel’s board of directors, announced the event as a way to bring the community together in celebration of the landmark hotel, which has been declared a cultural heritage site of Baja California.
The anniversary concert will take place on Saturday, July 19, in the hotel’s oceanfront gardens. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
Headlining the evening is *Tiko’s Big Band*, a swing and jazz ensemble from nearby Tijuana known for its lively interpretations of the “big band” era. Their repertoire includes classics in swing, jazz, and foxtrot that recall the golden age of American dance music.

“It will be a special evening in a one-of-a-kind setting—a chance to enjoy and make memories with family,” said Torres Ramírez.
Beyond the music, guests can enjoy the hotel’s historic museum, its poolside areas near the Casa Blanca Ballroom and the Pacific Tower, and the famous Azteca restaurant. The hotel also features a collection of historical murals, beautifully preserved salons, and direct access to the beach in a family-friendly, inclusive environment.
Visitors can stroll along the beach next to the iconic Rosarito Pier, explore the on-site cafés, and take in the rich history of one of Baja California’s most beloved landmarks—all under the theme: “The rhythm of the sea is better with Tiko’s Big Band.”
