With a touch of Rosarito talent, environmental engineer Samantha Moya Tamayo has launched the creation of a digital guide to identify recreational, relaxation, and mobility spaces in Rosarito.
The project, accessible via Google My Maps, allows users to easily locate parks, beach access points, rest areas, and public transportation stops.
In its second phase, the initiative will include detailed descriptions of recreational sites, complemented by photographs.
Beyond serving as an informational tool, the guide is designed to act as a database for public projects aimed at meeting mobility regulations and standards.
Samantha Moya Tamayo, a graduate of the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana with a degree in Environmental Engineering, explained that the idea stemmed from her concern as a Rosarito resident to promote the development of more recreational, mobility, and relaxation spaces—particularly in areas outside the tourist zone and with a focus on accessibility for people with disabilities.
For now, the project is limited to Rosarito, though there are plans to expand its scope to the metropolitan area in the future.
